His BIG idea- is to save money because poles and wires are there, so we don’t need new ones

but, the poles and wires are already old AND - there’s zero way it would take less than probably 30 years to get nuclear plants next to or on the same sites as retiring old coal power stations
so that makes the already old power transmission systems another 30 years old (20 if magic is real)
so the lines need replacing anyway
