@PhillW 1. Yes I would say pH level is the ultimate test for is it ionic or not, pH 3-4 = ionic, pH 2 or lower is regular old acid leaching. Too many companies say they have ionic clays but then all their testwork is pH 1, ionic is becoming a marketing buzz word for clay projects.
2. Maybe, but hard rock are very hard to compare as they are capital heavy, how to reflect that in the comparisons? Maybe keep it simple with clays/leachable for now?
3. To keep it simple maybe just include the mid to larger players. KTA and VSR have pivoted away from rare earths to Li as their rare earth projects are weak. The Esperance players are all $5m mcap and in death spiral due to difficult hydrochloric met. ABX is a tiny resource and GRL is also very low grade, so they aren't really comparable peers per se but feel free to add them if you think it helps?
