Hence after the cross, we see Jesus exalted and glorified and referred to as an BEGOTTEN God now John 1:18 = he was not a God prior, hence HIS words in 17:3.
It also highlights, that Jesus did NOT say eternal life also hinges on knowing some separate created being, the Holy Spirit, BECAUSE the Holy Spirit is the Only True God and Father.
Unless you chose to claim that Jesus has two Fathers, hmmmmm, Because the Bible would demand this, if you create another being out of the Holy Spirit.

The Father is the source of salvation (John 3:16), the Son is the means of salvation through his death and resurrection (Romans 6:4), and the Holy Spirit is the Father, Spirit of truth, that glorified Jesus the agent who brings about regeneration and transformation in the life of the believer (Titus 3:5-7). with each person having unique roles in the work of salvation and in the divine economy.
