Ths is entirely incorrect, it is much more economic to ship iron ore than steel, also processing cost (capital and labour) would be much higher in Australia than where you are shipping the iron ore.
Building stell mills in Australia to process iron ore into stell to be shipped offshore does not make economic sense.
