Otherwise, how do you explain why all these ex Soviet republics are lining up, to want nothing to do with Russia?

Albania, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, not much Russian love there?

And how do you explain Finland and Sweden joining NATO, with the latter having not since the Napoleonic Wars, initiated any direct armed conflict and favouring neutrality?

Of course you know better than all of the above and can explain why there is an absence of countries lining up to ally themselves with Russia due to their fear of a NATO invasion?
