goarmy,GOT dont need approval from the ALC to mine the offshore tenements.They have approval already.The company havent pushed this issue openly as they dont want to appear arrogant,and I believe there's a lot of people like you ,who dont understand the situation properly.Yes,the other areas will need the ALC approval,but the offshore has enough DSO manganese to make a lot of money.They are doing the right thing though and consulting with the ALC anyway.Think about it ,you wouldnt set up a company,and go to all that trouble if the whole operation could be stopped by the ALC,you just wouldnt take the risk.Ring the company and they will be more than happy to talk to you.Hope that helps ,but dont take my word for it and give them a call.Simon Brown is good to talk to.
