go back to the previous threads. Multiple people were claiming the Colorado Supreme Court were right in their application of s3.
Despite multiple people (myself included) stating that the application of s3 should require conviction for insurrection and not just political opinion.
Hence SCOTUS has rightfully found that in order for s3 to be applied Trump would need to be impeached by congress and convicted of insurrectionism in order to be made ineligible.
Any application outside of this is an attack on at the core of democracy. Not to dissimilar to the likes of Putin vs Navalny
