Appreciate the response, It seems if you do hold copper stocks then there would be quite a bit you and nippy actually agree on

I'm inclined to agree this will remain volatile (and great for traders) while it goes through the set of tasks it needs to complete towards DSO. For me, I hold through those because I don't want to risk being out when this re-rates due to a combination of the copper macro and becoming cash flow positive. Now of course that will take a while, but my investment horizon is not a single year hence why I'm not fussed. If the project does go ahead, my gains averaged over those years will be more than worth it.

I'm sure trading the swings even half correctly would end up with more shares and overall profit though. But I've seen things re-rate on a single announcement enough times to have learned you very rarely get a chance to get back in with large positions if you're out.
