So, back in Oct 2015 they found two diamonds from L46 for a combined weight of 1.24ct.
They tested two surface bulk samples but I don’t think they reported the cubes tested. It would almost certainly be well under the volume treated compared to our current program.
Back then, they limited their testing capacity, since they had to share the alluvial processing plant. Today, we have the KBSP which is standalone operation, so no need to halt the alluvial processing.
Right at the time they found L46 to be diamondiferous, they deployed all earthmoving equipment to L259. I stand to be corrected, but I can’t recall them returning to L46, nor processing another bulk sample in the KBSP. If not, the recent +100ct stones should motivate them to retest L46 and possible some other close by targets. Also, I’m pretty sure they discovered an intense fancy pink at mb46.
If I have my coordinates correct, the below GE image clearly shows that the KBSP is located close to mb46.
