I sent my cheque off to convert some bob's on Thursday 23rd early. As of today the cheque still not presented. I sent it to Computershare as per what appeared to be clear instructions on the option form, they then forwarded the $ on to AVB... and without going into the long story, I would expect closer to 3 weeks total or more before ordinary shares are registered to me.
That is not to say others will have the same experience of course! AVB say up to 10 days to register shares then. That might be some guide.
Just Double Check that the paperwork/cheque should not go direct to Avanco office. I have a suspicion that although it says on the CS form : Return your Information to Computershare, this may not be correct(??), procedure could be straight to AVB office.. so it is a bit of a trap. Best to be aware, that's all... and check it out first by phoning.
3 weeks plus is disappointing to say the least.
