I can understand your dissatisfaction in relation to TNC at this point, I have expressed my views previously in relation to the company.
However being the disagreeable kinda fella I am I choose to point out a few things.
I would suggest the lack of exposure in a general sense isn't particularly concerning, Valleyarm is dealing with a very specific market being independent artists looking to release digital content. You wouldn't expect to see adverts in the wider media aimed at this market.
I would suggest google searches are primarily what they would be relying on. If you were an artist looking to sell your release via a digital distributor I think it's fair safe to say you would do a google search for one. I did a few quick searches and found Musicadium and Valleyarm were appearing in my searches.
Likewise social networking sites are another source for clients, is Musicadium has 18000 'friends' on myspace. Not so much interest on Facebook with 250 odd for Valleyarm. But there appear to be areas they are working at.
I would expect the next big ann. to come just before or after the TIMM (Tokyo International Music Market) which Valleyarm reps are attending, and is held on 25/10 till 28/10.
As for locations of partners and so on, well it doesn't really matter does it. We are not dealing with a physical shop front nor a physical product. The more agreements they have with international sellers/labels the more appealing the service becomes (in theory anyway) to independents.
I'm still out and not looking to get back in for reasons I have previously stated. My point is recent lack of activity hasn't changed the business model that a few here were so excited about only last week. In my view it's merely lost the interest of the day traders.
