The sentencing guidelines are quite well documented and 2.5 years custodial sentence for Sam Kerr would be right in equity in line with the Allchurch of Pembrokeshire judgement.

Sam Kerr should not receive mitigation for being LGBTIq or any other characteristic as that would not be appropriate given the Allchurch judgement.

If and when the charge is proven, Sam Kerr’s career is finished and she should be stripped of her medals for this overt demonstration of racism if proven.

I love a bet, and I'll bet "London to a brick" that this charge will be dropped, and soon too.

"Abuse of process" is the defence, at this stage anyway.

It seems to me that the charge itself is racially motivated.
