well they won't need to power the TECH project anymore, because it will never happen! The Chinese already have the technology to produce battery grade nickel from laterites. A project like this in Australia won't have any competitive edge, particularly one that IMPORTS laterite! If you came for nickel and don't want the marginal gas project, it's time to cut your loses.
