the density of iron ore is about 2500kg/cm
the density of steel is about 7850kg/cm
not to waste any more of my valuable time i will leave it up to u to work out the maths.
um nope i think i will have to work it out for you given your seem to be incapable from the tone of your post.
basically, volume for volume steel weighs 3 times more than iron ore so it would take 3 trips to transport iron ore and only 1 trip to transport steel.
plus there is also an abundance of steel making material inputs in australia which would not need to be exported to a chinese steel plant.
