Had an agreement been reached way back prior to the start of hostilities or at least early in the conflict, a lot of the pain and suffering could have been avoided. The US didn't want peace - they wanted a proxy war to weaken Russia. Ukrainians were and still are used as pawns. To my knowledge not one US soldier died in the conflict but a lot of US weapons have been hurting others by their deployment - billions spent on a war but Americans are on the streets across their own country homeless.
Politics is a dirty business ignoring human tragedies. All that money spent for what - to weaken other nations?
@Taurisk - responding here to your post in the music thread - perhaps you should ask the US leadership as to their motive in not wanting peace and why they don't look after their own people and are happy to leave a trail of destruction with other nations. AIMO
