I don't know about Trumps decisions being irrational

I think that most of his decisions are probably quite rational - they are designed for a couple of things -

to ignite the dumb half of the mob
    to popularise himself

and that's about it - that is the rationale

it's crafted, it's manipulative, it's executed, it's execution process is highly designed and crafted - rallies, glitter, lights, cap on or cap off, location, timing

it's rational - it's evidenced - (it works, it works extraordinarily well - he's basically taken over an almost entire party with a long history, he's had about half the voting public vote for him before, he's probably going to get, if he survives and runs - about a third or more of the voting public vote for him again)

    no, this is very rational

His day to day decisions inside this plan are irrelevant - they are, whatever they are as long as they fit inside the rational plan of popularism, self serving, lime lighting

he is in short - brilliant. No one, including me should ever call him and assume that he's an idiot - he is not. Evil, sick, yes - idiot, no.

And yes, I make the mistake of calling him an idiot -------- many of us have and yet - here he is.
