you have a wonderfully optimistic thought process on the American system of government

unfortunately, I cannot share your optimism

if a President decides to do something very dumb - it can be done and aside from one of the 'minders and staff' putting a bullet in their head - the president can do enormous damage ---------- in minutes

if you think that any vice president is more dangerous than a President who is a serial liar, vindictive, vengeful, criminal, threatening, disrespectful, insurrectionist, erratic, ignorant, irrational in kneejerk decisions, self serving only, self admitted to the concept of dictatorship, etc etc ---------
