The Budenovskoye mine in Kazakhstan is expected to become the world’s biggest new source of uranium.
However for the West it doesn’t even rate - Kazatamproms entire production from Budenovskoye mine is committed to Russia for the initial 5 years of production.
Also keep in mind they need the sulphuric acid to bring it into production, and the new sulphuric acid plant is not expected to be completed until 2016 at the earliest.
Production does not flow until around 9 months following the sulphuric acid injection.
Bring all that together and at the earliest any production from Budenovskoye “may” become available to the West would be 2033.
JB has positioned DYL beautifully to take full advantage of the supply deficit.
There simply is no substitute for experience.
