An update to the DFS is not being done for an obvious reason.
You’re a smart guy. Do the numbers yourself. Even if the current Li prices doubled, there’s no business case to develop the mine.
I hate to say it but it’s looking like a stranded asset.
However, with govt intervention and financial aid, and with the whole “first lithium mine in Europe” card being played on repeat, who knows, it may eventually go ahead. I can’t see it myself though.
The best hope I see for holders is EUR diversify into other projects. Wolfsberg looks an uneconomic dead duck.
