In the meantime back at the ranch in Zimbabwe IVZ can't be blamed for not making any other misguided announcements re the PSA can they after all the other times they have attempted to tell us where the F it is and when the F it will be signed have all been far from the mark even though IVZ may have (may have?) had good reason to believe the PSA signing was indeed imminent. But now where are we? We hang in no man's land again awaiting the PSA and it has had no mention in dispatches when it is arriving. There was some mention of the monetization status of IVZ in one tweet or press release I read in last couple of days. The Zim Gov't will be unsure/or sure of the financial status of IVZ at this point in time and also the next couple of years so they are baulking at signing the agreement...could this be the case? That is a Catch 22 classic. No PPSA no potential farm-in partner? No potential farm-in means no chops with which to develop the basin. So what is the real game as far as ZIM Gov't are concerned? (Maybe they are trying to wait until M2 gets deepened or until after the flow test is done and dusted.) Force IVZ into negotiations (without the power) with their mates in Algeria. A buyout? After all Algeria will most likely view it as a simple takeover and sort of partnership with Zim Gov't. as they have the chops and experience to go it alone. The Pirates are waiting to pounce...the treasure has been discovered...he who has the most mates and most money wins. That doesn't feel like IVZ to me...DYOR IMHO but the down-ramping was becoming rampant so I thought I would put it where it seems to me to be...a more juicy topic.
