Have been involved with 4DS since 2014 and have had extensive experience in comms from way back to 1975 with the broadcast suite at Avalon Studios for Philips Kronig back in the day. From there got involved various systems including Integrated Systems (Tyco & Serco), SCADA and Fibre Networks. It is interesting that 4DS has changed tacks in where they hope to succeed. As 4DS have been around since 2010 I dare say that most if not all companies within the Memory or Electronic component industry would know of 4DS and have scouts that would be looking and evaluating multiple companies that would be viable for partnering and or acquiring. Also very interesting that WD have dropped off the 4DS radar. Why? Regardless of the achievements 4DS have changed direction and this will cause potential concern with possible buyers as they will perceive that 4DS technology will not be developed to it's initial goal. Other major issues that need to be overcome is will the technology be able to be scaled to lower geometries? The most major concern for possible purchasers or potential clients is the cost per chip to manufacture. Just my thoughts.
