Investors need to know how management intends to deal with all the logistics problems - poorly constructed road and issues with the river being too high and or too low. Investors do not expect management to be able to control the weather, but they need to arrange or obtain lots of barges to move massive amounts of coal on days when the river is at an ideal level. They cannot leave that to the customer.
The original plan seemed to have been to fix those issues with the money from initial coal sales and deliveries. As these have been slower than expected investors need estimates on likely costs to fix the infrastructure and where the funding is coming from. It is assumed the largest shareholder will extend their funding, but what if they don’t and decide to pull the plug?
