    Just shows their stupidity, or is it a clever move.
    Losing shares in the consolidation and
    with overpriced shares (after the consolidation), the share price will crash.

    Then again the directors throw in a few pennies to ensure big bucks in salaries.
    Best "investment" for them, ensuring long productivity for their hip pockets.
