    I remember that exact day.
    My first thoughts were what the hell is this idiot doing at the bottom of the cycle, something similar hppened in the UK.
    Called my ex broker (a bigger idiot) who said something similar about gold which i strongly disagreed.

    My point was 1000s of years of accepted value vs fiat currency.

    Look at gold now, idiots!
