What's worse, is you are so confident.

Here's what you need to understand.

The ASX does not pause stocks because they run too hard.

Narryer Metals Limited - up 110% today and still trading
Nyrada Inc - up 44% today and still trading.
Widgie Nickel Limited - up 33% today and still trading.

These stocks have not been paused by the ASX, and are up more than Appen.

Instead, they issue a speeding ticket when they deem necessary.

This is a letter.

Appen then makes the decision to place the stock into a trading halt (as it says on the letter).

Appen then calls the ASX to request a pause.

This gives Appen's compliance department time to write the letter.

When the letter is written, they send it to the ASX, which is then turned into a halt.

This is literally how it works.
