I don't know if he is all that hell bent on taking all of Ukraine
it's hard to tell now what he thinks - because the map has changed recently with both Finland and Sweden now in NATO
he might be worse in his thinking - because he's certainly more cornered
so, you might be right. But it's difficult to tell IMO.
He'd also be happier with the way the war is going lately at a guess
it seems that the West is under pressure -------
I find it surprising that after all this time and the massive support from the West that it's Russia who are now doing better, including being able to supply more weapons.
IMO, we way underestimated Russia. It looked fast and hard initially, then it looked bogged and goofy - but, it's kept on against a tide of Western arms - pretty impressive really when you consider it all.
One wonders if it will go the way of many European wars - fight to a standstill, go home and everything stays more or less the same - only a lot more gravestones and poverty.
