On this occasion the halt is simply to respond to the ASX as to why the SP went up on such big volume....they might actually not have a clear answer or understanding themselves. It certainly does not automatically mean bad news. If it was bad news in the background I would have expected the SP to be plunging prior to the pause- not the other way around. but, who knows!
