Pinto, I wish you were right in your positive view of humanity. Alas you are not.
If one gains the same reward for saving and not saving, then there will be no saving for retirement. If one gets the same reward for working or being idle, very few would work. If one gets the same reward for risking capital or not risking it, few will risk it.
This is why collective farms failed and millions starved.
