racism can exist toward white folk, i've never said it doesn't, but it's impact it has on the recipient is the difference here. Nobody on this site can show me an example where a white person in Oz has felt insulted and belittled for being called white. I've spent years in the N.T , and been called a whitey on numerous occasions. I don't take it as being offensive because it isn't. As the racism definition says it usually only applies when the dominant culture uses it against the minorities. I don't find that difficult understand at all, and I fail to see why you do? Do you get insulted being called white?
