Is APX in breach of its disclosure obligations? Why wasn't this announced as soon as the indicative proposal was received, instead of needing a trading halt enforced by the ASX with the price moving up rapidly just prior?
The announcement is not clear about how recently the offer was made. We only know it was made at about a 100% premium to the prevailing price. Hopefully it was made recently enough for there to still be some upside to the implied price.
