it defies logic, it's stubborn, it's uneducated and opinionated and it resonates with any conspiracy thought going, any anger going, any hint that 'we can fix it' 'we don't like them either' 'they' 'elite'

I recognised stupid in our society years back when listening to CB radio - and from there on - stupidity blossomed big time -
talk back radio, shock jocks, talking heads, and then came the Liberal with the desire and ability to stifle education and promote dumb - and, then came social media - it was like throwing petrol on a fire and, here we are
if we went back to Menzies and Whitlam era - could we have ever imagined -
