Drastic Decrease in EV Sales
Electric vehicle (EV) sales have experienced a decline for various reasons. One of the primary factors contributing to this drop is the reduction or expiration of government incentives and subsidies for EV purchases. In many countries, governments have offered financial incentives to encourage consumers to buy electric vehicles as part of their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change. However, as these incentives are phased out or reduced, the upfront cost of purchasing an EV becomes less attractive to consumers, leading to a drastic decrease in sales.

Consumers also have concerns about the performance and reliability of electric vehicles (EV:s). Issues such as battery degradation over time, limited driving range, and higher upfront costs can deter potential buyers from choosing an electric vehicle.
