Good food for thought, @sura7667. Buyout talk in stocks gets exhausting - every investor thinks their company is the next one to get acquired - but this really does put a lucrative bounty on our head. Snapping up a major stake in what appears to be the most advanced and well positioned DLE producer at current depressed levels means they get to exercise some control of the technology to swiftly make it replicable and scalable going forward. If Vulsorb and the process here is shortly proven to everyone’s satisfaction, then an Aramco type buy-in to VUL would be as much about rolling the tech out into Saudi controlled lithium brine sources elsewhere as much as it is about deriving profits from the European operations. I think they’d have an almost impossible battle on their hands trying to get full control (to our benefit as a bidding war would send this stock price flying) but they could certainly acquire a fairly weighty sub holding here. Maybe some of the buying pressure at the moment is banks/funds positioning for this sort of possibility.
