re: ** arq vs hdr ** The Perth Basin may be tight to the East, but the area between Cliffhead and Hovea and Jingemia could hold a few pleasant surprises.
I am not buying into the HDR v ARQ argument as I think they are two different kettles of fish. Comparing the two does neither stock any good. I see ARQ's maximum potential shareprice as $5, whereas I think HDR's potential could be as high as $10, depending on the oil price etc. etc. HDR's reserves will last longer depending on what ARQ are able to turn up in the next 12 months.
They are both great companies, ARQ is a cash cow, if ARQ has some early discoveries and sees significant price appreciation early next year I will be looking to move some funds into HDR before Chinguetti production starts up.
Do your own research. Read the red stuff.
