SRL's Scandium is hosted entirely in Laterite, hence the hefty capex of US $1.8bn. It will never get developed.
The whole point here is that the Scandium is hosted in Saprolite clay, which is far easier to process and cheaper, both capex and opex wise.
The RIM Sc seems to be a mix of Saprolite and Pyroxenite.
