Why on earth are the federal government backing Lithium?! At a time when most people awake to the nonsense are giving a big no to driving an EV, even with the absurd subsidies in place. Most Australians don’t want it and the car manufacturers are cutting production across the globe. Good to see they are funding REE, but as if Liontown need anymore help with their Li project. Let the market dictate and decide what commodity and mine should deserve to be funded to production. Lithium isn’t it right now. The Australian government should be funding precious metals mines because that’s where the future money will be! Plus Australia has no shortage of them. Not an EV Li fad getting exposed by the day! Every day in the news a Li battery explosion or fire in Electric cars and bikes etc. How long can this nonsense go on for?! Have a look at who is buying big into gold and silver right now. It sure isn’t western countries and that’s probably the answer right there. Totally political decisions and manipulated to feed into certain agendas…
