"The great deception"

It already began in around the 100's.

1 Cor 3:16,17 - Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone defiles (corrupts, spoils) the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which you are.

1 Peter 4:17 - For the time for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if with us first, what will the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 17:3??????????

2 Thes 2:4 - who opposes and exalting itself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he (same, this) sits down in the temple of God, displaying itself as being God. (Inter).

Jesus has just gathered his sheep, the FEW that he references and then;
2:8 - And then the lawless will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

Truth is revealed, but the horse has bolted, it's wrath time now, of which people it would seem, have to now go through, due to lies and likely die hanging onto Jesus's truths.
The tribulation will look like a walk in the park, compared to the wrath, I would say.
Hence the woman drunk on their blood, because they drank the wine (lies) of her.

Hence, God has to wipe away tears
