Labelling inconvenient questions as deflection is a very convenient strategy. Doesn't change the fact that you are unable to answer the question directly.
It wasn't really an open ended question either. All I was looking for is either a yes or a no response. Should I trust them, or not? If not - what are you basing your beliefs on? If I should trust them, then why are you calling me naive for trusting that information?
