Yep. Pretty much spot on.
Just one change it's the Management Fees that are way too high. Well above 1%, for something you can almost get for maybe 10bps-20bps via ETF. Note - a fair bit of the cost of both types of funds is unavoidable, like regulatory and accounting fees.
Performance fees are fine, if that's the bulk of the fee you pay, and only when you're actually getting excess performance.
