This should work great for WA and Hazer. Reasonably priced gas and a fair bit of iron ore. And while the Hazer process could be deployed anywhere, from an emissions view shipping iron ore and LNG versus shipping green steel doesn't really add up. There are other factors as far as costs go though, but regardless of where it happens, the Hazer process seems to be part of the best answer for green steel.
In terms of other uses, using some imagination and smart business sense, just looking at anywhere there is a gas pipeline of reasonable capacity or LNG import terminal, then think how green hydrogen could be used at scale. Transport corridors, regional railways appropriately located may swing economics to fuel cells rather than batteries in some places. Each country/ region will present different opportunities, and while green steel and SMR replacement are the obvious no brainer uses, wherever the right infrastructure already exists, the potential is only limited by other people's imagination and capital. Royalties are great!
