Yes a long term holder here too since the ICI days in the early '90s when my grandmother gave me some. I doubled my holding after the '08 crash when the SP halved due to factors out of their control and took some cash with the Dulux demerger a couple of years later. My confidence was a bit shaken by the halving in the SP again a couple of years ago but things seem to have stabilised now and l am looking forward to the future.
Hopefully there is no scaling back on the SPP and I will end up with a small increase in my holding after last weeks couple of trades. Still fairly steady as she goes with the SP this morning, it will be interesting to see if there is any profit taking later on today or this week.
