This industry is going through some real challenges. Then you have the CEO of Hertz who staked his game on EVs now falling on his sword. He’s gone and so are most of Hertz’s EVs.
They’ve been selling the dream and not the reality and it’s starting to bite.
But the fact remains that governments want this and won’t make it easy for ICE vehicles moving forward.
I think it will be interesting when the first major stream of EVs hit end of life. Battery replacement is a major expense.
For now, I’m in. But as with any investment, you need to remain focused on all potential risks and mitigate or eliminate when required. Not advice.
