Yep, Tom spent years looking for the deposit, knew it was there but couldn't find it, ran out of money (and backers). Sent it to antofagasta and BHP who also couldn't find it.
In comes Dave, 100% hit rate.
But Tom knows more than Dave
Now why would Tom explore our tenements when he doesn't have the rights to it? Why would he spend money here when Aston Bay is free carried through to decision to mine?
Dave unlocked the exploration key and now Tom is off looking elsewhere now that Dave has shown the way.
Tom is still CEO of AB and needs to answer to his shareholders.
No disrespect intended towards Tom here, it's looking like a strong partnership.
