Today the blowflies will have bred so a guarantee of the maggots to return in full force.
I'm guessing everyone noticed that the extended hours of trading resulted in a majority of stocks going into the red albeit not quite as much as the green move in most cases. Some moreso. All sectors finished green.
Points to note, the strongest was energy (don't worry about inflation - it's under control). Cons Disc third - belief people can still continue to spend lol. Real estate up by 0.01 (points!!) at the tail end just below materials (+0.03%)... powerful indicators.
If you look at the chips sector, it was dominated by the reversal move of NVDA. It was nearly the only one that reversed into green (the additional one being BroadComm). The other chip makers decided it was in their best interest to stay red. Hopium fuel too expensive for the majority of stocks.
