    Novac, you have to compare news results to pre news expectations to correctly interpret what markets might do. Expectations are priced into the market usually so a "better than expected" number will cause the market to "pop" regardless of whether the absolute number is bad. Fading news events is also common but is hard to do because you have to be able to figure out where price might move so you can try and get the best entry.

    I have been trying a different tactic lately that involves bracketing the market with stop entry orders that are OCO. If the market moves hard it gets you in on the way through but you have to be very quick or have an automatic exit order in the way.
