Hi All,
My mate with the drone ditched me last week.
I drove out to Bethanga today and can report that the drill rig sign is still on the side of the road. Two hours of circling the area however failed to sight the rig. The area is hilly and undulating, vision from the road is difficult with trees on the low side. Vision from the high side is hidden by trees along the road.
Failing knocking on the door of “Glenlea” and asking if I could drive to the site, i really had no hope.
I took a heap of pics, especially related to the historical mining of copper and gold at Bethanga. I’ll try and format them into something I can post here.
