Personally i feel we would have been fine keeping our existing infrastructure re coal/gas and necessary upgrade and maybe add some green energy sources but this is not the case. My view is nuclear is a far cleaner option than current green wastage thats to occur and a much more reliable energy base load. All things being equal we should not have moved from coal/gas full stop if its about cost. Seems a mute argument about costs and expense when saving the planet(joke) going green and U would be the cleanest. Seems with our current energy bills and future outlook no one seemed worry about that before in govt.
