Directors having shares is a double edged sword.
There are pros and cons for both.
Having no shares means their decisions are not based on share price movement purely on what is best for the company and in turn shareholders.
Having shares means their decisions could be compromised based on the share price.
Personally I would prefer Directors are given shares based on performance and this could be directly related to the share price.
