imo no time is a good time to play silly buggers, and imo we don't need a religious discrimination bill allowing schools to sack teachers for their sexuality or religious beliefs or non-beliefs.
but this is more about the procedure he's taken. its encouraging division rather than removing fences.
he's either deliberately wedging Dud or he's using a call for bipartisan support as a means of getting a headline.
