    Nuclear for Australia founder Will Shackel has called on the governmentto end nuclear energy bans in Australia.

    The 17-year-old nuclear campaigner launched a petition calling ondecision-makers to lift the nuclear ban.

    The petition currently has well over 15,000 signatures in support of anuclear ban lift.

    “I support renewables but at the same time like most Australians say weshould also be able to consider the potential role for nuclear power as part ofour mix and that’s not a hard ask,” Mr Shackle told Sky News Australia.
